Key Responsibilities
- Client Assessment & Consultation
- Conduct thorough skin analysis and client consultations to determine suitability for treatments.
- Assess medical history, skin type, and client goals.
- Treatment Planning & Delivery
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans using a range of aesthetic procedures (e.g., facials, peels, microneedling, laser, body contouring).
- Perform treatments according to clinic protocols and industry best practices.
- Client Care & Safety
- Ensure all treatments are carried out safely, with appropriate pre- and post-care instructions.
- Monitor clients for adverse reactions and manage any complications promptly.
- Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of consultations, treatments, and client progress.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Client Education & Support
- Educate clients on skincare routines, treatment options, and expected results.
- Provide aftercare advice and support to maximize treatment outcomes.
- Professional Development
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Clinic Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment.
- Assist with stock management, equipment maintenance, and clinic marketing as required.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications: level 7 qualified aesthetic practitioner or aesthetic background nurse.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical aesthetics or skin clinic environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication, client care, and technical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge: Understanding of skin anatomy, common skin conditions, and treatment contraindications.
- Attributes: Professional, empathetic, and committed to client safety and satisfaction.
Desirable Criteria
- Additional certifications in laser, chemical peels, or advanced aesthetic procedures.
- Experience with medical-grade skincare products and devices.
- Knowledge of local regulations and accreditation standards.
Working Conditions
- Full-time or part-time, clinic-based role.
- Flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as required.
